Our Founder- Partner, Advocate Nausheen Yousuf of TKNY Advocates and TKNY Legal Reservoir was invited to deliver a session on “Rights of Women Pertaining to Police” by one of the esteemed NGO’s in Mumbai “CORO” and its offshoot “Right to Pee”.
The said session was highly interactive where participants were divided into groups and assigned with situational problems/ case studies and were asked to present solutions therein. Topics like emergency helpline numbers, emails, police website, hierarchy of police officers, rights at the police station like none arrest of women were covered.

The session included information on emergency helpline numbers, the hierarchy of officers and ways of approaching them, different kinds of complaints at the police station like NC’s, FIR’s etc, The session was a fruitful one followed by a lot of queries by the participants.
